Ran Online Brawler Guide

POW brawler's are known for dishing out massive damage against their enemies, during the early stages of RAN, the time before lvl 127 skills were introduced for general use, POW brawler's were feared for their one hitter, the Ankle Crush, though there were other skills that could arguably be a match for the AC like the POW Swordsman's Vacuum Slash or Tiger's Rage coming from a POW Archer, none of them, according to stats can be delivered with as much accuracy as when a brawler delivers his, massive damage which rarely misses even when used against the evasive archer. Then came the lvl 127 skills, POW brawler's were overshadowed by POW swordies as they obtain stronger version of their 1 hitters and of course there was the SF DOD combo from DEX archers which did not help the image of the POW brawler's 127 skill which was a slow 2 hitter skill, Upper Jab was definitely not a favorite when it comes to PvP battles specially during CW or PK time which were gaining popularity at around the same time the new skills were introduced for the use of all players. Months passed and the players became stronger, tougher, masmakunat. 1 hitters of the Ankle Crash's lvl became insufficient to dispose of stronger foes, those with the stronger 127 skills became more dominant, It wasn't until recently, when another set of new skills were released, were POW brawlers once again shown the spot light with yet one of the best skills a RAN Character can ever possess, the Ray Cyclone quickly gained popularity as players broke barriers using this awesome 1 hitter, dealing damage amounting to nearly 10,000 delivered to a monster, not only was the skill so impressive in terms of damage but the quantity and AoE it has was just as unbelievable

In this guide, I would like to share possible character stat and skill builds for this class and type, these builds I'm about to share are vested on the principles of being the strongest, most efficient then practical build

1). PURE POW - Distribute all status points to increase your character's POWER or POW, the higher the POW the higher your character's attack will be

Skill build

Rays Cyclone - Master
Upper Jab - Master
Ankle Crush - Master
Mekaze Kick - Master
Tornado Kick - lvl 1 (optional)
Elevated Kick - lvl 1 (optional)
Agility Boost - lvl 1 (optional)
Power Kick - Master
Sonic Slash - lvl 2
Concentration - Master
Chain Kick - lvl 2
Spinning Kick - lvl 2
Side Kick - lvl 4
Fist Mastery - Master
Titan Will - Master
Evasion - Master
Light Speed - Mastered (optional)

Weapon Mastery - Master (optional)

2). POW VIT - Use only as much stats as your need states and put the remainder on vitality to increase character's HP

a. POW 366 - maintain your pow stats at 366 base (your pow should be at 366 with out the use of any enhancements or items that increases your pow) this build will allow you to master your Rays Cyclone, it is recommended that you use Heavy White Tiger Gauntlets as your weapon or if un available use Heavy Silver Gauntlets, if you prefer using weapons with elemental effects then the most you could use are Heavy Quilling Gauntlets [2nd element]

b. POW 406 - maintain your pow stats at 406 base, this will allow you to use Heavy Silver Gauntlets [2nd element] as well as master your 147 skill and use the much preferred Heavy White Tiger Gauntlets

Maintain either of the two pow levels at any given time and distribute the remainder of your stat points to your vitality, this build will require the use of 2pcs level 120 Alloy Ring and a gauntlet that will give you +5 stat points to your pow (e.g. Heavy Iron Gauntlets [2nd element])

Skill build

Rays Cyclone - Master
Upper Jab - Master
Ankle Crush - Master
Mekaze Kick - Master
Tornado Kick - lvl 1 (optional)
Elevated Kick - lvl 1 (optional)
Agility Boost - lvl 1 (optional)
Power Kick - Master
Sonic Slash - lvl 2
Concentration - Master
Chain Kick - lvl 2
Spinning Kick - lvl 2
Side Kick - lvl 4
Fist Mastery - Master
Titan Will - Master
Evasion - Master
Light Speed - Mastered (optional)

Weapon Mastery - Master (optional)

3). POW INT - as if pow brawlers doesn't shell out enough damage, POW INT brawlers delivers the most painful hits of all, increasing a pow brawler's attack by +65 or +60~70 at most, those who have broken the barriers of strongest attack against mobs or other players belongs to this class

a. Buffs only - Maintain either two of the pow levels indicated above at the POW VIT section, either 366 or 406 (I recommend 366 build) but instead of deviating to VIT distribute some of the remaining stat points to INT

POW 366 INT 183

POW 406 INT 183

Maintain either of the stats at base (without any equipment adding to your pow or int stats) this will allow you to use high level weapons and acquire the POWER UP and BLOOD LUST buffs of int type brawlers

Similar to the POW VIT build, you will require 2pcs lvl 120 Alloy Rings and a weapon that will give you +5 to you pow in able to equip high level weapons, you will also have to use 2pcs lvl 120 Silver Rings to master both the Blood Lust and Power Up buffs

Skill build

Rays Cyclone - Master
Upper Jab - Master
Ankle Crush - Master
Mekaze Kick - Master
Power Kick - Master
Sonic Slash - lvl 2
Concentration - Master
Chain Kick - lvl 2
Spinning Kick - lvl 2
Side Kick - lvl 4

Blood Lust - Master
Power Up - Master
Elbow Crush - lvl 4
Head Crush - lvl 7

Fist Mastery - Master
Titan Will - Master
Evasion - Master

4). POW DEX - Excellent for leveling and / or dueling depending how far you're willing to take this hybrid build

a. Evasive Dance - Use either of the two builds suggested in the POW VIT section, 366 or 406 then deviate to dex type, distribute as many stats needed for you to master the evasive dance, exact distribution are as follows:

POW 366 DEX 176

POW 406 DEX 176

This will again require the use of alloy rings and gauntlets that gives +5 to pow in order to master pow type skills or wear high level weapons

You will also need to use an Enhanced Armor Set giving a total of +20 to your dexterity and 2pcs Jade Ring lvl 120 giving another +14 to your dex to master the Evasive Dance Buff

b. Deadly Seven - let's admit it, D7 is one of the coolest skills here in RAN, though it's hardly any use during CW and PK it is the perfect weapon for all you duelist out there so here's how to do it

POW 366 DEX 227
POW 366 DEX 267

POW 406 DEX227
POW 406 DEX 267

This will again require the use of alloy rings and gauntlets that gives +5 to pow in order to master pow type skills or wear high level weapons

You will also need to use an Enhanced Armor Set giving a total of +20 to your dexterity, a weapon that will give you another +5 to your dex and 2pcs Jade Ring lvl 120 giving another +14 to your dex

You would have the dex of 227 if you do not intend to master the skill, 267 if you do want it mastered, my recommendation is not have it mastered as you would probably use it only once or a very few times during duels and very rarely during CW or PK

Skill Build

Rays Cyclone - Master
Upper Jab - Master
Ankle Crush - Master
Mekaze Kick - Master
Power Kick - Master
Sonic Slash - lvl 2
Concentration - Master
Chain Kick - lvl 2
Spinning Kick - lvl 2
Side Kick - lvl 4

Deadly Seven - lvl 1 or Master
Evasive Dance - Master
Mirage Punch - lvl 4
Tokkan Punch - lvl 4
Heavy Punch - lvl 7
Weapon Mastery - Master (optional)

Fist Mastery - Master
Titan Will - Master
Evasion - Master

Quick Combo

Tips for PvP battles
1). BUFF UP, use up all your buffs, especially POWER KICK, EVASION and CONCENTRATION, dont use lightspeed when facing archers, if you've acquired PU and BL use them too, make sure to buff up before the duel or from a certain distance when doing PK

2). Combo1: for PURE POW and POW VIT Brawlers

duel: Mekaze Kick + Ankle Crush (or RC)
PK: RC + Mekaze Kick

use mekaze kick first during duels cause it hits early in the execution of the skill, enemies who casts canceling skills first would have been damage by the kick even if they were able to cancel the skill

use RC or AC first during PK because the skill hits late during its execution, follow up with Mekaze kick a skill that hits early so there would be the least amount of time the enemy could use pots
